What a perla of a day we had out at 590 Coutts Island Road this Saturday! The sun was brightly shining and energising everyone to do the mahi. We got through 449 plants before lunchtime, and managed to smash out an extra 400 after lunch with only 14 volunteers left!

We owe a huge thank you to our key partner for the Waimakariri ANZ ‘Love Your Water’ tour, Environment Canterbury. Without their expertise and knowledge of the Waimakariri Catchment, their generosity in providing all the trees, land and plant guards for free, we wouldn’t have the opportunity to restore the biodiversity in the Waimakariri!
