Getting there

Just head to the Hilton Auckland Hotel, Princes Wharf, 147 Quay St, Auckland CBD. See map at top of this page. The function starts off in style with drinks from 7.00pm and we’ll be getting seated at around 7.45pm. Please be on time so that you don’t miss out on the fantastic food, drinks and performances!

Getting in

Please either show us your tickets on your smartphone or print and bring along your Eventfinda ticket. If you bought tickets for a group or table, just make sure your group has their ticket or they at least know the name of the person who made the booking. Please ensure your group has all event details.

Getting dressed

Let’s Get Cleaned Up is a great chance to dust off the suits and frocks, don the dancing shoes and have a rollicking good night out. Check out photos from our previous events on our website for a better idea of what to wear.

Auction

During the evening we will be holding silent and live auctions with celebrity auctioneer Sabine Davison and with an exceptional range to bid on, there will be something for everyone. Get ready to get bidding on the night.

Official after party

From midnight at The Jefferson, Auckland’s swanky new Whiskey Bar. With over 500 bottles of the golden amber on offer, there’s something for everyone. But you don’t have to love whiskey to feel at home here; they also serve up a mean cocktail and a finger lickin’ good menu if you didn’t eat enough at the ball. You’ll find The Jefferson downstairs in the Imperial Building, Fort Lane, Auckland CBD. Entry is free for ball guests and you can invite friends who couldn’t make it to the ball, for them it’s just a $10 koha on the door.

Parking

We don’t have any event-specific parking arrangements, however all-day parking is available at the Viaduct and Downtown car parks, which are both nearby, and via Wilson’s Parking on Princes Wharf. Limited paid valet parking is also available at the hotel subject to availability.

Seating requests

If you have a special seating request (that is, you didn’t buy a full table of ten but want to request that a friend is seated at your table) please email your request to [email protected] before 5pm on Wednesday 26 August.

The Rocking Roller-Coasters

A group of 5 time-travelling musicians who have landed in Tamaki Makaurau, Aotearoa, with the mission of transporting it’s inhabitants, through music, back to the golden age of 1950s rock ‘n’ roll and 60s pop. They possess the magic blend of being sophisticated enough to be genuinely into music that’s before their parents time, and still having the youthful exuberance to pull it off. The result is a full dance floor that spans every generation in the room. Bring your dancing shoes. Check them out here.

Carlee Rhodes

Carlee Rhodes play a fresh New Zealand take on musical styles out of the Southern US. Mixing genres ranging from soul and blues to country and rock n’ roll, their diverse and energetic set of upbeat and slower-tempo originals has been capturing crowds at venues and festivals throughout the country. Fronted by the soulful Carlee Atkin, the five-piece band’s original sound is influenced by a 1970s Fender Rhodes keyboard which has been passed down through generations of Atkins.

A huge thank you to all 350 attendees of our sold-out fundraising ball at the Auckland Hilton on Saturday 29 August. Together, we managed to raise a record-breaking $46,334 for our cause!

To our generous sponsors and to all those who kindly provided auction items, thank you. To our brilliant entertainers, The Rocking Roller-Coasters, Carlee Rhodes, Peter Urlich, MC Clarke Gayford, DJ Murry Sweetpants, kia ora. To Kurt McManus Photography for your photographic prowess and to Sabine Davison for your auctioneering expertise, cheers.

Thank you to the brilliant Hilton staff for once again providing this fantastic venue. Special thanks to our partners Benefitz, Singapore Airlines and Samsung for your dedicated support. Finally, to our event planning gurus Murry, Jodi and the Sweetpants whanau, we love you guys and you have been absolutely legendary yet again. Without you all, this evening would not have been possible.

Check out a selection of photos from the night above, or see the full set of shots here.
