Nelson Presentation Training Workshops | Sustainable Coastlines

Event Details

Our experienced staff have delivered educational programs to over 100,000 people, motivated tens of thousands of volunteers to remove over a million litres of rubbish from the coast, and planted thousands of trees alongside our waterways. Now we are looking for people to help us spread our educational messages far and wide.

Please join us for our Presentation Training Workshop in Nelson on Thursday 7 August, as part of our nationwide Training Workshops and Tree Planting Tour.

Our Presentation Training Workshop is free to attend and will pass on the core public speaking skills and knowledge necessary to deliver our ‘Love your Water’ freshwater restoration presentation, which teaches simple steps and creative changes that we can all make to look after our waterways.

The workshop is two hours in length and involve a multimedia presentation and interactive training session. The workshop is held on Thursday 7 August, 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Nelson Environment Centre, 1 Braemar Place, Upper Franklyn Street.

We hope to see you there! If you can’t make it, or you’re simply interested in rolling up your sleeves and getting involved hands-on, then please join the Nelson City Council and Friends of the Maitai planting event on Sunday 10 August.
