Sustainable Coastlines has partnered with Phoenix Organics on The Love Project, a project to find out which coasts we love the most. Late in 2014 people across the country voted for their favourite beach, and Ruakaka Beach came out on top!
To celebrate our love for this sweet stretch of sand, join the Sustainable Coastlines team, alongside our friends from Phoenix Drinks, to help clean-up Ruakaka Beach on Saturday 14 March.
Look for the big blue Sustainable Coastlines flags at the carpark at the end of Ruakaka Beach Road, outside the Ruakaka Surf Lifesaving Club, from 11.00am to 1.00pm. Rubbish sacks, gloves and health and safety information will be provided – all you need to do is sign in, collect clean-up equipment and get stuck in.
This is a great opportunity to work together to keep our coastlines the way they should be: litter free. Phoenix Drinks will be providing delicious refreshments for all clean-up participants! Come one, come all, see you there!
