Covid safety at our events

  1. If you, or anyone you live with feels ill, please do not attend.
  2. All attendees should follow cough and sneeze etiquette: Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue (dispose of tissue immediately).
  3. Bring gloves to the event if you have them available at home. Although we will have freshly washed gloves for those who need.
  4. Wash and sanitise your hands regularly.
  5. Please use the Covid Tracer App or the paper form supplied on site to sign in.
  6. The event may be cancelled at late notice due to the unfolding situation.

Remember to bring:

  • Closed-toed shoes
  • Sun-smart gear
  • Raincoats and appropriate clothing for the day on the coast
  • Reusable drink bottle, filled and ready to go
  • Camera!

We will provide: 

  • All relevant gear: gloves, sacks
  • Health and Safety documentation & briefing
  • First aid trained staff and first aid kits
  • Sunscreen
  • Hand sanitiser
  • Rubbish removal to transfer station.

We are excited to open applications for the next Sustainable Coastlines Ambassador Programme Intake Hui, with two and a half days of hands-on learning:

  • About Sustainable Coastlines and our kaupapa and our programmes
  • how to organise an event
  • helping to actually run a major public Sustainable Coastlines event
  • how to engage your networks- (school, workplace, family and friends) for good
  • where to take your experiences with us and run with it to make an impact in the world.

There are limited places (15 spots!) so please send in your letters of application (for those of you who have sent one in for postponed hui, just a registration please!)

 If you are unable to come this time but are still interested, please let me know this and I will be sure to invite you to our next one.


Friday 11th June – 6.30-8.30pm – A vital chance to set the intention of the weekend and to meet everyone.

Saturday 12th – TBC – Full day

Sunday 13th – TBC – Full day

By registering to this event you are committing to attend all three sessions (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), and if you are then unable to make it, you will update us on 021 0436056 or [email protected] as soon as you can so we can make changes to catering plans and waiting lists.

If accepted into the programme you accept to fill in a Code of Conduct form and give further details for a Police Vetting form.
