The volunteers knocked it out of the park at the last Puhinui Stream Matariki planting hosted by Auckland Council as part of the Mayor’s Million Trees programme! Collectively, 12,500 trees were planted at Tootara Park over two days (30th June and 2nd July), where the Te Puhinui / Puhinui Stream begins!  A collection of high resolution photos from 30th June and the 2nd July can be found here & here (respectively).
