Our experienced staff has delivered educational programs to over 100,000 people, motivated tens of thousands of volunteers to remove over a million litres of rubbish from the coast, and planted thousands of trees alongside our waterways. Now we are looking for people to help us spread our educational messages far and wide.

Please join us for our Presentation Training Workshops in Christchurch on Wednesday 4 June, as part of our nationwide Training Workshops and Tree Planting Tour.

Our Presentation Training Workshops are free to attend and will pass on the core public speaking and presentation delivery skills that our team has honed over the past five years. We will also provide an introduction to the content from our proven ‘Love your Coast’ litter-awareness presentation and our recently developed ‘Love your Water’ freshwater restoration presentation, which teach simple steps and creative changes we can all make to look after our coasts and waterways.

Workshops are two hours in length and involve a multimedia presentation and interactive training session. Both workshops will be held at the Ministry of Awesome, Level 2, 208 Madras Street, at the following times:

  • Wednesday 4 June, 11.30am to 1.30pm
  • Wednesday 4 June, 6.30pm to 8.30pm

We would love to see you there. You don’t need to bring or prepare anything, however to allow us to plan for numbers, please indicate which workshop you will attend through our registration form below. Registration only takes 30 seconds, we promise! We hope to see you there!

Parking

There is a massive empty gravel site opposite the Awesome HQ on Madras St. You can park there for free for how ever long you wish.
