Sturdy shoes: this area has some challenging coastal terrain. You’ll need closed-toe, sturdy shoes (such as sneakers, sports shoes or tramping boots).
Warm and waterproof clothes: Our weather is unpredictable! Bring at least one warm top (ideally old woolen) and a rain jacket.
Sun hat and sun cream.
Reusable water bottle (filled-up and ready to go).
Camera (optional) – we would love to see your photos after the event.
To celebrate the opening of their new Milford store, we have teamed-up with our friends at Citta Design for a clean-up of Auckland’s marvellous Milford Beach on Saturday 29 November.
Meet at the beachside carpark at the northern end of Craig Road, Milford, anytime from 9.00am to 1.00pm, to sign-in and collect clean-up equipment. Rubbish sacks, gloves and safety information will be provided, just turn up to clean-up. From there we’ll split into teams and head out along the coast to to remove rubbish from this beautiful spot.
All clean-up participants will receive a 20% off discount stamp to use in the new Citta Design Milford store over the weekend, and thanks to our buddies at Phoenix Organics we’ll provide delicious organic drinks for all volunteers. Come one, come all, see you there!
