Our experienced staff have delivered educational programs to nearly 100,000 people, motivated tens of thousands of volunteers to remove over a million litres of rubbish from the coast, and planted thousands of trees alongside our waterways. Now we are looking for people to help us spread our educational messages far and wide. Please join us for our Presentation Training Workshops in Hutt City on Thursday 19 June, as part of our nationwide Training Workshops and Tree Planting Tour.

Please note a LOCATION CHANGE —

Workshops are free to attend, each workshop is two hours in length and involves a multimedia presentation and interactive training session. Both workshops will be held at the Sustainable Living Centre (the old Post Office building)151 High Street, Lower Hutt at the following times:

  • Thursday 19 June, 11.30am to 1.30pm — Presentation training workshop
This workshop will pass on the core public speaking and presentation delivery skills that our team has honed over the past five years. We will also provide an introduction to the content from our proven ‘Love your Coast’ litter-awareness presentation and our recently developed ‘Love your Water’ freshwater restoration presentation, which teach simple steps and creative changes we can all make to look after our coasts and waterways.
  • Thursday 19 June, 5.30pm to 7.30pm — Event management workshop
This workshop will focus on the key skills and tips for running successful events.

We would love to see you there. You don’t need to bring or prepare anything, however to allow us to plan for numbers, please indicate which workshop you will attend through our registration form below. Registration only takes 30 seconds, we promise! We hope to see you there!
