Love your Water Gisborne | Sustainable Coastlines

Event Details

Over the years our experienced team has delivered educational programs to nearly 100,000 people, motivated tens of thousands of volunteers to remove over a million litres of rubbish from the coast, and planted thousands of trees alongside our waterways.

We are now working on building community capacity to address the quality of our waterways and we would love your help. From May to August this winter we are coordinating Love your Water — our nationwide Training Workshops and Tree Planting Tour — during which we will share our experience in public speaking and event planning, and learn from local groups along the way.

Presentation Training Workshops

Please join us for our Presentation Training Workshops in Gisborne on Wednesday 25 June and in Ruatoria Thursday 26 June. These workshops are free to attend and will pass on the core public speaking skills and knowledge necessary to deliver our ‘Love your Water’ freshwater restoration presentation, which teaches simple steps and creative changes that we can all make to look after our waterways. We are looking for people to help us spread these educational messages far and wide.

Workshops are two hours in length and involve a multimedia presentation and interactive training session.
