The Auckland launch event on Thursday 5 June was a hugely successful collaboration between Sustainable Coastlines and the NZ Landcare Trusts ‘Volcano to Sea’ project.

Local volunteers, including crews from HSBC, Keen Footwear, Singapore Airlines, Fulton Hogan and the Hilton Hotel met at the Downtown Ferry Terminal and cruised to Half Moon Bay. There, we joined local school students to give the love back to the waters of the Hauraki Gulf on World Environment Day.

The teams planted 2500 native seedlings and were rewarded with fun crafts with Art @ Work and a delicious BBQ.
