Join us on Sunday 21 January at the beautiful Okahu Bay for a good old clean-up. Our good friends at Ngāti Whātua o Orākei are reporting that the storm of a few weeks ago managed to wash up a whole bunch of unwanted material onto the beach, much of it plastic that is harmful to our marine environment.

Team up with our new cohort of Sustainable Coastlines Ambassadors and our friends at Ngāti Whātua o Orākei as we get the beach spick and span and get the plastic off to where it should be and out of the ocean.

Come down after breaky for a 9:30am kick-off, with some Love Your Coast info, our safety briefing and dishing out of sacks and gloves. Keep your eye out for the Sustainable Coastlines flags and volunteers. We’ll be finished up by 11.00am.
