Keen to protect your beautiful coastline and get involved in a Wellington beach clean-up? Come along to Honiana Te Puni Reserve at Petone Beach on Saturday 12 April for an impactful clean-up event, thanks to our friends at Hutt City Council.
This is a free, weekend event, so don’t be shy — grab your whānau and mates and give back to our beautiful moana. We’ll be out there from 9.30am, but feel free to show up and leave when you like — it’s a Saturday after all! After heading out to the beach for the clean-up, we’ll end with cold drinks thanks to Phoenix Organics.
Litter Intelligence survey
Alongside the clean-up we will also be conducting a Litter Intelligence survey, collecting litter data to inform action for a world without litter. If you’re keen to get involved in being a citizen scientist for a morning, let Sam know in advance (email [email protected]), or make yourself known on the day.
