Remember to bring:

  • Closed-toed shoes (ideally hiking boots or gum boots)
  • Sun-smart gear
  • Raincoats and appropriate clothing for the day on the coast
  • Reusable drink bottle, filled and ready to go
  • Camera!
  • Old mobile phone for recycling!

We will provide: 

  • All relevant gear: gloves, sacks
  • Health and Safety documentation & briefing
  • First aid trained staff and first aid kits
  • Kai and drinks
  • Sunscreen
  • Hand sanitiser
  • Rubbish removal to transfer station.

Sustainable Coastlines invites you to come along to Hikoikoi Reserve to put in the mahi to help Te Whanganui a Tara – Wellington’s harbour!

All welcome to this whānau-friendly free event. We’ll start from 3:30pm, heading onto the shoreline for the clean-up, then end with Phoenix Organics drinks and kai.

Please bring along any old mobile phones you have for recycling!

All equipment will be provided including gloves, sacks, health and safety documents.

Please arrive early and take your time finding a safe place to park..
