Raglan Presentation Training Workshops | Sustainable Coastlines

Event Details

Our experienced staff have delivered educational programs to over 100,000 people, motivated tens of thousands of volunteers to remove over a million litres of rubbish from the coast, and planted thousands of trees alongside our waterways. Now we are looking for people to help us spread our educational messages far and wide.

Please join us for our Presentation Training Workshops in Raglan on 27, 28 and 29 May, as part of our nationwide Training Workshops and Tree Planting Tour.

Our Presentation Training Workshops are free to attend and are two hours in length. They involve a multimedia presentation and interactive training session. All workshops will be held at the Whaingaroa Environment Centre, Town Hall, Bow Street, Raglan.

  • Tuesday 27 May, 1.00pm to 3.00pm – this workshop will focus on the key skills and tips for running successful events.
  • Wednesday 28 May, 3.00pm to 5.00pm – this workshop will pass on the core public speaking skills and knowledge necessary to deliver our ‘Love your Water’ freshwater restoration presentation, which teaches simple steps and creative changes that we can all make to look after our waterways.
  • Thursday 29 May, 3.00pm to 5.00pm – this workshop will pass on the information required to engage Community Probation Services workers (from the Department of Corrections) successfully to assist with community projects.

We would love to see you there. You don’t need to bring or prepare anything, however to allow us to plan for numbers, please indicate which workshop you will attend through our registration form below. Registration only takes 30 seconds, we promise!

We hope to see you there! If you can’t make it, or you’re simply interested in rolling up your sleeves and getting involved hands-on, then please join the Meridian tree planting event on Saturday 31st May.
