Join us on 8th August 2020 to celebrate the Wynyard Quarters 9th birthday!
We’ll be kicking off with a coastal clean-up and refreshments.
We will be meeting at the Sustainable Coastlines Flagship in the wynyard Quarter at 2:30pm where you can have look around the education centre and read about the dangers of single-use plastics and litter on the marine environment, then we will head out and do a clean-up around the area, everything will be provided including health and safety documents, equipment and refreshments.
Timing
2:30pm – Sign in at the Flagship and pick up gear
2:40pm – Health and Safety briefing
2:45pm – Clean-up commences
4:00pm – Return all rubbish back to the Flagship station and grab some refreshments
4:30pm – Event Ends
