On Saturday 6 August 2016 the amazing Adriana Avendano-Christie from The Pallet Kingdom will join us at The Flagship Education Hub, to show us how to make up-cycled herb and garden planter boxes from old timber shipping pallets. In this practical, interactive workshop you’ll learn how to make your own planter box and plant your own seedlings.
Tickets cost $20. Please bring cash on the day.

Event details

The session starts at 2.00pm and will run until around 3.30pm, at The Flagship Education Centre on the corner of Beaumont and Madden Street in Wynyard Quarter. Saturday 6 August is Wynyard Quarter’s 5th birthday, so make an day of it and come down and check out the birthday celebrations – there’s food, drinks and entertainment for all.

What to bring

Just bring yourself and some clothes you don’t mind potentially getting a bit of soil or sawdust on. If you would like safety glasses or ear muffs for hammering nails feel free to bring these along, though they are not mandatory.
