On September 14th, 2019 the keen staff from out partner sponsor Brother International Ltd gathered at Fraser Reserve in Tauranga to get stuck in and cleanup this beautiful waterway!

Despite a patchy forecast, the weather was perfect!
The land and mangroves in this area are feeling the effect from illegal fly-tipping, poor folks living rough, and rubbish traveling down the river and estuary.

A delicious afternoon tea was supplied by the Lemongrass Catering, washed down with some ice cold drinks thanks to Phoenix Organics.

A massive load of 950 litres of rubbish was removed from our coastline thanks to the Brother International team. A huge amount of fun was had by all and the happy faces took away a lot of information and ideas on how to reduce their own single use plastic use.
