Are you interested in taking action against ocean pollution at your local coastline?
Join us Saturday 24th February from 10:30am at Honiana Te Puni Reserve, Petone Beach to clean the beach and learn about Litter Intelligence! Learn how to set up and run a survey, sort, and record rubbish in an audit, and add your data to Litter Intelligence, the national database and solutions platform.
All are welcome to this whānau-friendly free event. You can come for the entire event or drop in when you can to do your bit to prevent plastics and other litter from polluting our coastlines.
All equipment will be provided including gloves, sacks, health and safety documents.
